Self-Confidence and Self-Love Boudoir

Being a boudoir photographer isn’t just about playing dress-up with lingerie or making women look sexy. Boudoir for me is really about self-confidence, self-love, and trust. I ask every woman who walks through my studio door to put her trust in me to provide her with an experience and photos that will positively change the way she sees herself. In return, I trust that my clients will open their hearts to self-confidence and self-love in their boudoir session.

As soon as I met this gal for her boudoir session, I could see what a beautiful, joyful woman she is inside and out! Even though it was obvious she was nervous, I could see she was optimistic and hopeful that she was going to have an amazing time and she put her trust in me to help her. Those nerves quickly faded and with each click of the shutter, I could see her transforming into a more confident woman who loves herself for who she is! The kind words she has shared with me have melted my heart, and I am so thrilled that I could help her have such a fun, self-love boudoir experience!

What made you want to have a boudoir shoot?
It’s always been on my bucket list, something sexy and fun to do for ME! Not anyone other than me.

What were you nervous about going into your session?
I was definitely nervous, but it was more of an exciting/butterfly feeling. “Like pinch me am I doing this?!”

What was your favorite part of your session?
I thoroughly enjoyed how easy-going the session was. Kelly made it feel like you’re doing a photoshoot with your best friend! It was light-hearted and comfortable.

How do you feel now that you’ve completed your session?
Honestly, these ladies have improved my self-confidence and my appreciation for my body by miles! I love myself 10x more than I did going into the session!

How would you describe your entire session experience to someone who was interested in their own session?
Paper Doll is the only photography company I have personally chosen to work with and will continue to work with in the future. Kelly is a pure soul, with passion and drive for not only capturing the raw beauty and personality in a person but empowering them in the process. She will make you laugh (maybe til you cry), she will possibly help you see a side to you that you’ve never seen before. And of course, her products are phenomenal. You will walk away from your session confident, and more empowered than ever before.
