Have questions about Boudie City photoshoots in St. Louis? Good, we're happy to help! Here are some of our frequently asked questions and answers to them! If you have questions about what's included in sessions or pricing, head over to the session info page or fill out our inquiry form!
It is definitely normal to be nervous for your photoshoot, so don't worry. In fact, about 99% of our clients are nervous when they first get started. However, within the first 5-10 minutes of the session, most women feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful. We'll help you relax and even put on your favorite playlist to get you in the groove!
Absolutely! We respect your wishes and won't post or share any images if you prefer they stay private. When you book a session, we'll discuss all of this and you’ll fill out a model release form with your preferences after you see your photos. For images we do have permission to share, we do not use clients' names or tag them on social media.
Nope, not if you don't want to! We'll style your session based on your tastes and comfort level! our session guide has tons of suggestions, and we have plenty of non-lingerie pieces in our studio wardrobe, too! we'll help you plan out the perfect outfits to flatter your figure and match your style!
Knowing how to pose is our job, not yours, so we totally have you covered here. our team knows all the tips and tricks to create the most flattering angles for everyone, all shapes and sizes. We'll help you pose from the tips of your toes to the top of your head and even do all the poses with you so you can see them!
Don't worry, we won't give you the Barbie treatment with plastic-looking skin. We use professional posing and lighting skills to highlight your best features and help you look and feel like your best self, but all final images do include light retouching to even out skin and remove blemishes, bruises, etc. We want you to celebrate and love yourself for who you are, so we don't reshape your body or change how you look, but we'll discuss any additional edits at your Reveal.
You'll receive our full prep guide before your session, but for most sessions, we suggest 3-5 different outfits and any shoes or jewelry you may want to incorporate. Our studio wardrobe has a wide variety of styles in lingerie and clothing in a variety of sizes (XS-6X), as well. We'll talk more about this as we plan your session together!
If you are hoping to have your photos in time for a special day/event (birthday, wedding, anniversary, holiday, etc.), we recommend scheduling your shoot at least 2 months in advance. Product delivery times can vary, so it's best to give yourself a little bit of wiggle room. However, if you're on a tight deadline, we might still be able to make some magic happen, just reach out and ask!
We’ll schedule your Reveal to view and select your photos 1-2 weeks after your photoshoot. Turnaround times can vary by product, but your digital gallery can be delivered immediately upon final payment, and printed products are ready in 3-6 weeks! If you need your photos by a certain date, we can plan your session date accordingly to ensure that you have your photos in time!
Payment plans must be completed before any images or products are delivered and are not available for à la carte purchases.
The Boudie City studio is in Maplewood, MO, just outside of St. Louis city limits. It's a second floor suite near the corner of Manchester and Sutton, and there is free street parking and tons of great food and coffee options in walking distance!
