Pin-up photography has always had a place in my heart. I LOVED Marilyn Monroe when I was growing up (still do!), and pin-up photography is really what got me started shooting boudoir. While boudoir photography has had a huge jump in popularity over the last 10 years, pin-ups have been around for ages, first appearing as kitschy drawings and paintings then joining the photography world! Even today, retro styles and pin-up photoshoots still hold their place, which is why this is one of my rotating Limited Edition Session themes!
My pin-up sessions combine the best of both worlds: vintage glam and styling with a sext, modern spin! We’ll bring the fun, kitschy feel of pin-up into a modern setting with a mix of pin-up and boudoir sets. While my boudoir sessions tend to be more focused on sexy and seductive looks and posing, pin-up is usually a bit more flirty and playful. Many of my clients who weren’t quite ready for a full-on boudoir session found that a pin-up shoot was the perfect way to dip their toes in and try out a shoot before jumping in for the boudoir!
Your pin-up session will incorporate some retro looks with your hair and make-up and wardrobe, and we’ll use an array of both pin-up and boudoir posing to complete your look. While my pin-up studio sets may vary, the martini glass shot is always a favorite and the perfect way to finish up your session!
